Welcome to Charlton Nurture Farm a therapeutic, nature-based alternative provision in Wiltshire, offering children aged 5–15 a safe place to reconnect, regulate, and rediscover who they truly are.

About us

At Charlton Nurture Farm, we provide a compassionate, creative and consistent environment for children overwhelmed by traditional systems. We are not just a service, we are a sanctuary. Our provision combines education with restoration, using nature, therapeutic relationships, and somatic support to bring children back to themselves.

We believe that every child is innately well, healing starts with connection, and behaviour is communication, not defiance.

Education. Regulation. Restoration.

Vision & Values

We are part of a future-facing movement for healing-centred education. Rooted in the three principles of innate health, our core values are:

Innate Health – We believe every child holds an intrinsic capacity for healing, growth, and connection, regardless of their history or diagnosis.

Nature Heals – We integrate the natural world into our practice, using outdoor spaces to support regulation, creativity, and embodied safety.

Trauma-Informed – Our approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and an understanding of how trauma shapes behaviour, relationships, and development.

Our Provision

Offering up to 15 hours per week of therapeutic education across 5 days, tailored to each child’s needs. With gentle 2.5 hour morning or afternoon sessions, children attend part-time, 2–3 days per week.

We offer small, attuned groups (max 6 children), animal-assisted learning, nature-based education, creative expression and project-based learning. Also somatic therapies: yoga, breathwork, movement, reflective 1:1 mentoring.

Our setting is a peaceful Wiltshire farm with a converted barn, stable workshop, sensory garden, firepit circle, and animal care zones.

Our Team

Our multidisciplinary team blends psychology, education, and therapeutic practice to offer children a safe environment to thrive.

With therapeutic input grounded in psychology and co-regulation, and creative, nature-based learning led by an experienced educator onsite, we create environments where children feel seen, safe, and supported.
